is adapted from a novel “5cm” by Donny Dhirgantoro . This film is directed by
Rizal Mantovani. Furthermore, over
500,000 spectators had watched this movie within five days. 5 cm also got The Best Film AWARD in the Festival Film Bandung 2012. In this film, you will see a famous basketball player who takes the role as "Arial" and Igor "Saykoji"- a great Indonesian rapper who takes the role as "Ian". How special this film is!
Genta , Arial, Zafran, Riani, and Ian are five
adolescents who have been friends for a couple of years although they have different
characteristics.
Once upon a day, Genta feels bored with his kind of friendship and he decides to do something different. He tells all of his friends in that gang to not meet each other for about three months. After three months being apart, a lot of difference has happened in their lives. Right after the “moment of silence”, five of them with Dinda (Arial’s younger sister) are reunited and celebrate their meeting by having a journey to Semeru Mountain, which is the highest mountain in Java located in East Java. This journey is full of struggles and also makes them love Indonesia more.
This film is
